The last round was a bit disjointed due to the weather. The U11 game was cancelled and the U13s replayed their games on Friday 4th May. A couple of good wins by the teams. Results from the last round.

Training and Hookin2Hockey

Hope everyone had a great Easter break. Regular training will start up again this week 19th April. Please note that there is a time change. Training on Thursdays for all juniors will be from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Gold Coast Hockey Turf. We are still endeavouring to have Tuesday training sessions on the grass at Coomera Anglican College once the weather permits. Further notice will be given when this starts again.

For those interested in Hookin2Hockey, this will be starting on Sunday 22nd April, 9:00am at Coomera Anglican College. Bring your little ones down and give them a taste of the game.

Representative Teams

Representative Hockey is upon us again. If any kids would like to have a shot at a representative team, they need to complete a registration form and preferably email it directly to the Association. In the past we have found that the kids who are selected for these teams improve their skills very quickly as they compete in 5 day competitions living and breathing hockey. It is also a great way to have a family break away whilst seeing some great hockey played by teams from all over Queensland .

U15 girls 5:30pm on turf. Players should be there by 5:00pm at the latest.

Training and Sign on – Sunday February 19th

A training session will be held for all players (Juniors and Seniors) this Sunday, 19th February, at Coomera Anglican College starting 8:30am.

Remember to bring along your sticks and feel free to bring along your friends.

We will continue with our sign on session from 10:00am until 12:00(noon). We intend to field the following teams and welcome all players interested.

Juniors – Mixed Under 11, Girls Under 13, 15 and 18, Boys Under 13, 15 and 18
Seniors – Women’s, Men’s and Vets.

As usual, we will also have the BBQ on and a sausage sizzle happening.
